You can always drop down into Lake Elsinore on the way back to top off. I might show up if I can get a pass.

Thanks gals and guys. I moved up to Corona area in December of last year, so I'm now waiting for the gates to the Cleveland National Forest to open. I think there will be plenty of riding to do when that happens. I'm looking forward to riding to Orange County on dirt. Let me know if you guys are ever planning a ride up this way.

Thanks DD and others. My day has been great, my wife got a job offer today after not working since last January. As far as riding, I've been on looking for rides on here, just some that may be closer to my home. I am looking forward to going upto Cleveland National Forest after the snow thaws. Thanks for setting up a great ride Steve. Sorry we all ditched you at the OHV park. You guys started earlier than I did and I wanted more. Wayne and I lost everyone else after lunch and then we headed to Indian Truck Trail for some more dirt. I didn't take any pics but Wayne has plenty to share hopefully.

I'll be there waiting. If you don't see me at 7:55, take off and I'll try and catch up to you guys. See y'all in the morning.

Any room for a smaller bike? I'm in Temecula and can meet in Fallbrook Area...any rough idea on when your passing through that area.

Thanks, I'll be careful. I didn't know if Black Canyon was straight forward or if I might take a side road on accident...I don't wish to get lost tomorrow by myself. I did see that it hits Mesa Grande, I just wasn't sure if it was a confusing road. Can I make a left to get to 76 or do I have to go right to the 79...or is one way funner than the other?

I'll be in Ramona tomorrow and am looking for a scenic way back to Temecula. Anyone know if Black Canyon Road is a thru road to the 76? Is this a nice ride or does anyone have better suggestion? I'm looking for some dirt ... does anyone have the tracks for that area. Any help appreciated! rob

Great pics and videos...thanks Mimi and Jeff. I saw this post and wished I could go, but it didn't come true...maybe that was a good thing with my klr monster. Jeff, by chance did you get video of your spill that hurt your shoulder (hope it's going to be okay)...you said you have more? I've been planning on going up there in September with another group...maybe I should reconsider. I'm waiting for more pics and stories to help me decide.

I've always wanted to go to Otay. Thanks Jon for setting this ride up. I had a great time. Thanks Craig and Steve for helping me load the KLR. Here are a few pics...I didn't take to many since I was trying to figure out where my phone was...and then my batteries...and then my car keys. Instead of bread crumbs, I like to leave personal belongings behind to find my way back. Thanks for finding all my stuff guys and gal! Nevermind the date stamps.
