I had a ton of fun this last weekend and will try to make it out there Sat/Sun. I've been trying to get a few friends into riding, so this will be a great opportunity with a variety of riding for them.

**Friends flaked and knee isn't getting better, so I'm probably out. Still thinking about making a solo putt putt ride, but not sure**

Wish I could go again so soon. Lots left to explore. We made reservations for May 8-9. Wife wants to spend mothers day there. Good for me. I can usually get her to extend the season a little bit as long as she has full hook up and AC. Pool and pancake breakfast doesn't hurt either. Have fun out there.

Man..I really want to go back, but thats a Kid Weekend, and I have track meets all of those in March....I was thinking of heading up the following weekend, which would be Easter...a bit less CRAZY than some of our other desert spots, I would think...

What was your quickest route out there? Are you guys getting cabins or bringing trailers and such? Are there going to be campfires at night? Seems like a good place to check out for the future with the kids.

Quickest? ;):o:lol: .......from Re-Mota (Ramona) I just headed to Westmoreland via Hwy 78 then cut over to Hwy 111 up through beautiful(?:lol: ) Niland......the KOA is about ~30 miles north of Westmoreland on the east side of the Salton Sea......we'll be staying in the Toybox......looking to get daughter #2 some more riding time on the CRF230F......campfires and a cold "b"......mandatory ;):)

I have to back out. Wife just revoked my hall pass and invoked one of her own. Looks like Sun/Mon will be my opportunity to do something. Sounded nice though!

Chris,

I am in at a minimum for the ride on Sat. I will drive up and make the ride. The wife may join and we may stay the night, but she is debating that and shopping with a friend. Will know more later in the week.

Chris and Friends,

Hey, the trip sounds like a great time. Unfortunately I need to stay close to SD this Weekend.

Kick back and enjoy the campfire scene for poor Bagstr, stuck in SD.

I hate these Bailout posts, don't you?

Nancy
