We were all getting bored doing silly little trail rides  , so I decided to add some other sports. The catch is you have to be able to ride all types of terain, at a fast pace, with a dual sport bike, that is fully loaded with all your gear. Its a challenge just to mount all your stuff.

First, I wil post the pictures I took of, Rex Everything in the pool. (EDIT) IN and above the pool.

And the funny part of our trip was, when we were almost there, and Steve Mckellar thought his KTM was overheating. I started asking him why anybody would want to ride one of those bikes so far from home.:lol:

We couldin't find anything wrong with his bike, we realized they burn trash in Baja.:lol:

Craig,

Looks like you guys had a great time! How high were the waves? That looks like a stone beach, ouch!

The forcast was a dead on. We arrived on Saturday and the waves still were only head high, so I was a little worried, but at 10:00 AM sunday morning the peak of the swell arived, and we all got in the water. I didn"t get any pictures of the bigger waves because the peak of the swell only lasted about 2 hours, and we were in the water. The wave was very long and very fun. At the peak of the swell the waves were about 3' over head.

SATURDAY: S swell building as old swells fade. Surf picks up to the waist-head high range by the evening at the better Southerly exposures.

Winds: Light NNW winds early, then increasing up to 10kts by the afternoon from the NW/W.

SUNDAY: S swell peaks with surf in the chest-overhead range at the standout spots. Clean in the early

morning.

Winds: Calm to light offshore early, then W/NW in the afternoon around 10kts.

This picture was taken Sunday morning, as the peak of the swell was begining to show up.

The trip was super fun! Thanks to Craig for getting the ball rolling on this one. The ride was killer, real nice bowl and fun waves. It was just about a perfect weekend. I can’t wait to go back. I will post some pictures tonight.

It worked very well. It was nice to have a place to lock stuff in, when you are out in the watter. I removed it from my bike and used it as a locker at the hostel.

Shoulda gone, ahhh but I won't be able to take any trips until September when I go to Moab.

I'll PM you about the sig thing
