Pollo 0 Posted July 3, 2008 Thought I would share some trails I ride at Otay. I know you guys just had a ride there. Next time you go up thousand trails entrance turn right at the top on The mountain truck trail and come down to Alta Rd near 905. When you get to the Cafe / Taco shop at the bottom, right before the street turn right, follow it north and up the steep rocky mountain and over to the foot of the lake. Turn right, go past the sky diving landing strip and follow the trail next to Otay lakes Rd. Come up over a couple hills back to Thousand trails. You enter about 1/4 mile up from the park.
